This past Saturday we held an Outdooring party for twin baby boys. An Outdooring is the Ghanaian tradition of introducing a baby to family and friends. The evening began in the entry hall where 400 guests gathered for appetizers and conversation. The guests then entered the grand ballroom where everything was decorated in white and blue. The focal point of the room was the stage and head table where the proud family sat. The small ballroom held a buffet which included a carving station and an assortment of dishes. The party went till 3am and guests enjoyed music from a DJ and a live band. On behalf of all of us here at Foxchase Manor we would like to congratulate the family on their two new additions. We would also like to thank two of our preferred vendors- Liz of Liz Flowers (703-861-2483) for creating beautiful centerpieces and stage, and also Carmen of C&G Catering Creations (703-282-7752) for creating and providing equipment and servers which helped make this a wonderful event.
