This past Sunday we held a Quinceanera in our North ballrooms. The evening began on the outdoor patio where about 100 guest gathered for an intimate religious ceremony. Afterwards everyone enjoyed a cocktail hour while the other 300 guests arrived in the entry hall. Guests mingled while a traditional Mariachi band performed. The reception was held in the grand ballroom where 40 tables were decorated in emerald green and silver which matched the birthday girl's dress. In fact the centerpieces were designed around her dress and her attendants. There was a head table for the special guest and her family, which was decorated by Liz Flowers. The dinner was served in small ballroom and featured traditional Mexican cuisine. The guests enjoyed the birthday cake which they had one that was chocolate, banana flavored cake with fruit, and a carrot cake.
