
On Saturday, May 29, 2010 we held a Sangeet for 200 guests in our North Ballrooms. The entry hallway had a bar for guests to enjoy beverages while the grand ballroom was decorated with gold satin linens with rose petals. The small ballroom had a buffet featuring an Indian and a Chinese station. The food included papri chat, samosa chat, chicken tikka mint, among other items. The chinese station featured vegetables, hakka noodles, chili chicken and more. A chola bhatura station also displayed chola, bhatura and suji halwa. After dinner guests enjoyed a dessert station including a fruit platter, and masala tea.
The groom's best friend sang 'Tiny Dancer' while playing the keyboard and the bride's best friend did a traditional dance for all to enjoy. Other friends danced and sang while wearing wigs to get the crowd laughing.
A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all!
