On Wednesday evening from 5pm-8pm Foxchase Manor held a Free Open House & Tasting in our South Ballrooms which was open to the public. Wedding Planner, Gretchen Wade from Dragonfly Events and Design produced the bridal show and plans on having at least 3 more shows this year. Stayed tuned for more details!
There were several different vendors who were in attendance. We had Wedding Planning Gretchen Wade from Dragonfly Events and Design; a DJ from Horizon Entertainment; cake samples from The Sweet Life; Videography and photobooth from Istoria Productions; Fusions Catering; Floral arrangements and centerpieces from Devers Design; Bruce Best Photography; decoration by Partyland; and rental equipment from DC Rental.
The Open House is an opportunity for potential clients and even booked clients to see the ballroom set up as a 'mock' reception. Guests also have an opportunity to speak with some of the best event professionals.
Fusions Catering provided samples of their menu for guests to try.

Tables were decorated with different colored linens from light greens, to coral, solids and patterns. Each table had a different centerpiece. Centerpieces ranged in price; some florals and some candles.

Bruce Best Photography had a booth setup with samples of photographs.

Dragonfly Events and Design was there to speak with clients about their event planning services.

The Sweet Life has been rated in the top 10 pastry chefs in the country and has been the winner of several Food Network competitions.

This square table, chairs, china and linens came from DC Rental and table centerpiece by Devers Design.

Partyland provided the altar structure in the center of the room. They specialize in design, decor, flowers, lighting, props and themes.

Other tables and gold chivari chairs are from Elegant Decor.
