On Saturday, May 29, 2010 over 400 guests gathered in our South Ballrooms to enjoy a party.
The entry hallway was decorated with tables of yellows and orange linens and curtains. A table displayed statues of elephants and little men playing different instruments. Two bars were on each side of the entry way where guests could enjoy a beverage.
The grand ballroom had green, pinks, reds, orange, and gold colors around the room. A curtain of green and pink lined the windows where the band played music. A small stage with curtains and cushion seats on the ground were placed in front of the fireplace for guests to sit and relax. The center of the grand ballroom featured an umbrella with gold elephants around the base.
The small ballroom had tables and chairs set with splashes of gold and red. All food was vegetarian. Mexican Bhel, vegetable quesdillas and papri chaat was served. For dessert, gulab and ice cream was served along with malpua (a fritter like dessert) with rabri.
