This past Saturday 300 people guests gathered to celebrate the first of a two day wedding reception in our south ballrooms. The groom arrived by limousine and was greeted by a drummer who lead the groom into the ballrooms. From there the groomsmen on the dance floor for a traditional dance. Afterwards the bride entered the ballroom and took her place next to her groom.
The grand ballroom was decorated in dark reds and gold. The guests entered the ballroom under a gold and burgundy arch that was decorated with hanging crystals. The centerpieces as the guest tables were round vases with floating candles and red and white rose petals. The main focus of the room was the stage which was beautifully decorated for the bride and groom.
The dinner began with dessert first. Guests enjoyed a chocolate fountain with an assortment of different sweets to be dipped in chocolate. Afterwards the guests dined on traditional Afghan cuisine provided by Ariana Afghan.
