August 21, 2010 Foxchase Manor North Ballrooms

On Saturday, August 21, 2010, around 200 guests gathered into our North Ballrooms for a wedding reception. Guests were welcomed into the entry hallway which was set up with a bar and cocktail tables for guests to mingle and relax. A gift table, family photo table and escort card table were also in the entry hall. Instead of a guest book, the couple had index cards to write 'a note of love' and place it in a jar.

The outdoor patio also had tables set out for guests to mingle inside and out and enjoy the beautiful weather. The caterers walked around with passed hor d'oeurves and wine.

After cocktails, guests were welcomed into the grand ballroom for dinner. Tables were decorated in gold and rusty pink linens with a design. Each table had a square vase filled with assorted orang, pink, red and yellow flowers which was surrounded by candles. Each napkin had a menu card inserted inside. Every table had a jar of spices as a wedding favor labeled 'Love is the spice of life'.

Guests enjoyed a plated meal provided by R&R Catering. The bridesmaids were dressed in pink dresses (all the same color) but each girl in a different dress style, along with gold shoes and matching jewelry. The bridal party and parents lined the dance floor during the couple's first dance, right after their introduction.

The remainder of the evening was spent dancing. The guests had a great time. We wish the couple the best of luck on their new life together!
