June 20, 2010 North & South Ballrooms

On Sunday June 20th we held a ceremony and reception in our north and south halls. The event began around 9am with the arrival of roughly 150 family and friends, who enjoyed a quiet breakfast in our south small ballroom before joining a small ceremony on the north outdoor patio. After the intimate outdoor ceremony the rest of the 800 guests arrived for the indoor ceremony which took place in the north ballrooms. The ceremony took place under a stunning mandap made of real flowers and crystals. Afterwards the guests joined in the south ballrooms for lunch which featured traditional Indian vegetarian cuisine. Some guests stayed after the lunch while the north ballroom was being transformed for the evening reception.

The reception began around 6pm with a cocktail hour in both the north and south entry halls. Then the 350 guests entered into the north ballrooms where the reception was held. The bride and groom sat at a sweet heart table that was surrounded by luxurious drapery in plum and gold. The guests sat at tables cover in pink and purple linens and the centerpieces were tall vases with floating candles and flowers and also gold branches adorned with crystals and flowers. Different colored up lighting helped create a sophisticated atmosphere. During the reception the bride and groom's friends and family entertained the newly weds with several dances. The evening was beautiful and we congratulate the happy couple and their families.
