On Friday, June 25th about 100 guests gathered at Rose Hill Manor for a sangeet celebration. A sangeet is a tradition in Indian culture where the families gather together before a wedding ceremony to celebrate the couple. Food and dancing is big at these events.Guests arrived and started the evening with a buffet from Bollywood Bistro. Guests enjoyed dinner in the small ballroom which had tables decorated with light blue linens. Tables were also set up outside for guests who wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather.
After dinner the guests gathered into the grand ballroom which was setup with a large dance floor, pink uplights in the corners of the room, and singers that came all the way from Kenya. Guests sat in whitewood chairs and enjoyed the music. By the end of the evening all the guests were on the dance floor having a great time.
Following this event is a ceremony and reception to take place the very next day. Stay tuned for more pictures!
