On Saturday, June 26, 2010, 200 guests came to Rose Hill Manor to celebrate the wedding ceremony and reception of a beautiful couple. The greeting started the event where the groom met his bride at the entrance. A long ceremony took place in the grand ballroom where a beautiful mandap was setup. The mandap was decorated with green and pink fabrics and pink flowers hanging down.Following the ceremony guests gathered into the entry hallway for cocktails. A colorful candy buffet decorated in matching pinks and greens was displayed. Guests were able to fill bags of candy to take home.
Dinner followed with tables in the grand and small ballrooms. Tables were decorated in white linens with green napkins. Centerpieces were little plants with flowers. Little frames with table numbers and pictures of the bride and groom were on every table. Guests enjoyed a traditional Indian Cusine buffet provided by Bollywood Bistro.
The bride's parents were married on the same day so in honor of the parents, the bride and groom presented them with an anniversary cake. The cakes were strawberry mouse and chocolate mouse. A slide show of past family pictures played. The remainder of the evening was celebrated with dancing. Guests finished off the evening by dancing to techno Indian music.
