July 3, 2010 Rose Hill Manor

On Saturday, July 3, 2010, 100 guests gathered at Rose Hill Manor for a wedding ceremony and reception. Guests gathered into the grand ballroom where the ceremony was taking place. Chairs were decorated with light green ribbons. The bridesmaids wore beautiful light green long gowns with a creme accent and beautiful beading. An aisle runner was pulled out for the bride to make her entrance with her father. A pastor from their church performed the ceremony. A unity candle was lit and a reading by a friend. A quartet played beautiful music during the ceremony. The center of the ballroom was decorated with two large beautiful flower arrangements, all creme roses which were in tall clear vases filled with pearls and water. These arrangements sat on two white pillars on each side of the bride and groom. The kneeling bench used in the ceremony was an heirloom of the church.
After the ceremony the bridal party exited to take photos and the guests gathered into the entry hallway for cocktails. An assortment of hor d'oeurves were served including mini crab cakes, cheese and crackers and a corn salsa with chips. A table with family photos and ceremony programs were on a table when guests entered the room.

After the cocktail hour guests assembled through the small ballroom to collect their placecard for dinner. Placecards were on a table with creme linen and also displayed were family photos of the bride and groom when they were young. A frame was displayed that the couples friends and family made which was a list of tips for a happy marriage.

The gift table was placed in the entry hallway with a large flower arrangement of creme orchids, peach and yellow roses and greens were placed in the center of the table in a beautiful clear vase with pearls.
The cake was provided by Amphora Cakes. White cake with barvarian creme. The cake was displayed on a small round table with light green underlay and a sheer white, swirl overlay and surrounding it was flower petals. The cake was later moved into the center of the entry hallway where the bride and groom had their cake cutting for all to see.

Guests were welcomed into the grand ballroom for dinner where tables were set with light green linens and creme napkins. Each table had a very large floral centerpiece of peach and yellow roses, white orchids and greens.
Each guest got to take home a favor as a keepsake of the special day.
The bride and groom were the center of attention for the evening. They were seated at a sweetheart table decorated with beautiful linen, a lovely floral arrangement and two pillars of larger floral arrangements on each side.
The bridal party made their entrance into the grand ballroom. Dinner was caterered by La Prima. A plated meal of either chicken, beef or salmon was served. After dinner the couple cut the cake. The remainder of the night was left open for dancing. The couple had one last dance and changed and later returned for a send off.

The couple was sent off for the evening by all their friends and family at the door with lots of bubbles (even a bubble machine!). The couples car was decorated with a "Just Married" sign and balloons.
It was a beautiful evening had by all. We wish the bride and groom many happy moments together!
