On Friday, July 2, 2010 over 600 guests gathered in our North Ballrooms for a wedding reception. The women were seated in our small ballroom and the men in the grand ballroom. The entry hallway had hor d'oeurve stations for the women as well as a buffet and the patio had a buffet for the men.The ballrooms were decorated with red, white and gold linen. Centerpieces on each table were tall gold branches with red roses on top. Votive candles hung from the branches. The table was a white underlay with gold overlays. On the women's side there was a long red carpet raisle leading to a stage. The stage had a white and gold backdrop with lights. The bride and groom later sat in the two large red and white chairs for guests to greet them and take photos with.
Guests enjoyed dinner, prayer and good times with the new bride and groom. Each guest took home a packet of forget-me-not seeds as a favor. Guests said their goodbyes to the bride and groom as they made their exit on the red carpet.
