On Tuesday July 20th we held an intimate wedding ceremony and reception in our north ballrooms. Then ceremony took place in the small ballroom where 100 guests witnessed the joining of the happy couple. The bride added a splash of color and comfort by wearing yellow sneakers with her white gown, while her bridesmaids wore yellow floral dresses with purple sneakers. After saying their vows the bride and groom lead the recessional out to "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by the darkness.A cocktail hour in the entry hall then followed, where the guests were able to mingle while enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. After the cocktail hour the guests entered the grand ballroom where the reception took place. The guests sat at 10 round tables with candle centerpieces, while the bride and groom sat at a sweetheart table surrounded by all their loved ones. The buffet which was presented by Helga's catering had a towering bread basket as the centerpiece which really made the buffet look inviting and enticing. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, dessert, and celebration. Congratulations to the bride and groom and to their families!
