July 24, 2010 North Ballrooms

This past Saturday July 24th the north ballrooms at Foxchase Manor held a wedding reception for 100 guests. The evening began when the guests arrived into the entry hall and where they were greeted and lead to the small ballroom. Also during this time the bride and groom took pictures in the entry hall with their family and friends. The bride looked stunning in her elegant white A-line dress and colorful flowers in her hair.

The cocktail hour in the small ballroom featured a bar and stationed appetizers for the guests to enjoy before the reception. The guests were served champagne cocktails while sampling assorted vegetable and fruit displays.

Next the party moved into the grand ballroom for the reception. The bride and groom sat at a sweetheart table at the head of the room. While the guests sat at tables which were draped in apple green linens with white striped overlays. The centerpieces were cylinder vases filled with orchids and topped with floating candles. The guests were treated to a plated dinner by Catering by Uptown, which consisted of several courses and included such items as beef tenderloin and macadamia encrusted sea bass. After dinner the evening was filled with dancing to the music of a live band, and the cutting of a beautiful 3 tiered wedding cake. The event was beautiful and we wish the bride and groom a wonderful and joyous marriage!
