On Sunday, July 4, 2010, 300 guests gathered in our North Ballrooms for a quinceanera. Guests were welcomed into the entry hallway by two bars and a gift table with a picture of the birthday girl.
Inside the grand ballroom was a large head table with a beautiful backdrop of white and teal linen with large white and teal rose centerpieces on columns. The backdrop had rows of lights behind it and the rest of the ballroom was accented with blue uplighting. Reception tables were decorated with teal linen and white napkins. Vases with white roses and a teal bow wrapped around were placed on a mirror on the center of every table. Blue crystals were scattered around the base of each one.
An assortment of food was on a large double sided buffet in our entry hallway. Guests also enjoyed fruit dipped in a chocolate fountain.
Dances were performed by the birthday girl and her court, as well as the traditional father daughter dance where she was presented her 'adult' shoes. The guest of honor was also presented a crown to wear for the rest of the night.
The birthday girl was dressed in a beautiful teal dress and later changed into a black dress. There was a dj who sang a few songs during dinner. Speeches were made by friends and family. A screen was displayed which played videos and lights that covered the room while people danced. Everyone had a great time dancing the rest of the night away.
Happy Birthday!!
