June 5, 2010 North Ballrooms

On Monday, July 5, 2010, 300 guests gathered in our North Ballrooms to celebrate the wedding ceremony and reception of a beautiful couple. Guests arrived and were directed right outside to our patio area for the ceremony. The patio was decorated with an altar covered in a sheer gold linen. A unity candle table sat in the center of the overhang. Gold chivari chairs were set with little hot pink and cream colored programs which doubled as fans. Each end chair had a decorative cone which hung from the chair and held pink rose petals to be thrown after the bride and groom made their exit. The bride walked down an aisle that was lined with a light gold aisle runner and white swirled stands with hanging pink carnation pomander arrangements.

There was a quartet in the corner playing music as well as two singers and a guitar player who sang and played a song. The bridesmaids were wearing pink and the groomsmen had matching pink ties.

After the ceremony guests were ushered into the entryhall where they enjoyed hor d'oeurves provided by Raaga Catering. The table was decorated with a large orange and red hibiscus flower arrangement. Guests were able to sample tandoori salmon, achari chicken tikka, and aloo papari chat. There was also two bars where guests could grab a beverage. A placecard table was decorated in teel and gold linen which had hot pink and cream colored placecards arranged on it. In the center of the table was a large elephant statue made out of pink and cream flowers.

After cocktail hour everyone entered the grand ballroom for the reception. The room was beautifully decorated in pinks and teals. The bride and groom sat on a small stage with a sweetheart table decorated in teal and gold linen. There was a backdrop behind them with pink and teal fabrics and a beautiful flower arrangement on the head table. Guest tables were decorated in a white underlay with two different colors of teal as the overlay. White napkins were at every placesetting along with a small tin filled with pink m&ms which were monogrammed with the couples picture. The centerpiece was a beautiful pink and cream floral arrangement with sprigs and orchids coming out of the top. Some were low on the tables and some were placed on a vase and sat as tall arrangements.
The buffet was served in the small ballroom and the rest of the ballroom was decorated with accents of pink uplights around the room. A diamond shaped dance floor was in the center of the room where guests spent the remainder of the evening dancing the night away.

The cake was a cream color with a gold 'ribbon' accent around the bottom of each layer. The table was accented with pink and cream flowers.
