Saturday, August 14, 2010 around 100 guests came together to witness a wedding ceremony and reception of a beautiful couple.
Guests were welcomed into the grand entryhall and were ushered into the small ballroom for the wedding ceremony. The wedding party walked down the aisle to Pachelbel's Canon. The bride & groom each had one attendant. The bride was escorted down the aisle by both her mother and father. The bride wore a beautiful off the shoulder dress. Guests witnessed the vows of the happy couple.
After the wedding ceremony guests went back out into the entryhallway for cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed an assortment of cheeses, fruits, sauted asparagus, mushrooms and squash as well as an antipasta. Passed hor d'ouerves included crab cakes, and spring rolls.
After cocktail hour guests made their way into the grand ballroom where tables were decorated in purple and cream linens. Purple and green hydranga flower arrangements with white dasies, purple snapdragons and green mums were the centerpiece on each table (provided by Flower Gallery). The bride and groom were seated at a sweetheart table in front of the fireplace.
Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner provided by Kitchen Gourmet which included maple glazed sweet potatoes, pasta in a cream sauce with sundried tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, green bean medley, grilled honey dijon chicken, and crab cakes. There was even a seperate buffet for the children at the wedding which consisted of mac-n-cheese, baby carrots and chicken fingers.
Not one person was forgotten at the event. The bride and groom provided coloring books and crayons as well as blow up guitars for the kids to play with.
Guests danced the night away to music provided by Swing Machine Dance Band DJ's. The exit of the bride and groom was them driving off in an antique car.
We wish the bride and groom all the best!
