August 28, 2010 Foxchase Manor South Ballrooms

On Saturday, August 28, 2010, 300 guests were welcomed to our South Ballrooms for an Indian wedding ceremony and luncheon. Guests were greeted at the outdoor entrance by a red fabric archway decoration with florals. The entry hallway was decorated with a floral mat and an elephant statue along with a red and gold chest and carpet.

Guests were welcomed into the grand ballroom which was setup with a large stage decorated in golds and reds. There were trees and pillars and red chairs for the bride and groom. Each side of the stage was a giant photo of the bride on one side and the groom on the other. A long red carpet aisle lined the middle of the room with gold chivari chairs on each side. The ceremony was held in this room.

The groom arrived on horseback and the bride wore fresh jasmine in her hair.

After the ceremony guests enjoyed a vegetarian breakfast and lunch in the small ballroom provided by Touch Indian Cuisine. The linens were a mixture of deep red and golds and deep red napkins. Every table had an edible arrangement as the centerpiece.

Thank you to Yaadein for doing the decoration and C & G Catering Creations who helped with the event. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony and food. We wish the bride and groom a lifetime of happiness!
