On Tuesday, August 31, 2010, around 600 guests attended a corporate celebration. Guests arrived and were greeted by people at the door welcoming them into our North ballrooms. Our entry hallway displayed a large bar decorated in reddish/rust colored linens. A large marble table displayed a dessert table featuring cookies and brownies.In the grand ballroom tables and chairs were set with votive tables so guests could mingle and eat. A large dance floor was in the center of the room where Hitkickers DJ played music.
The outdoor patio had tables and chairs setup along with some outdoor games for people to play.
The grand ballroom also had another bar setup along with four food stations scattered around the room. Each station represented a different region where meetings were also taking place. The Chicago station featured hand rolled sushi from Sushi USA; the California station featured quesadillas, curried crab salad, and empanadas; the North Carolina station featured BBQ pork on sweet potato biscuits, pulled chicken, and shrimp and sausage; and the Virginia station featured crabcakes, boiled peanuts, fruit and cheese platter, and country ham sandwiches.
