On Saturday, September 4, 2010 around 300 guests gathered together for a wedding reception in our North Ballrooms. Guests entered into our entry hallway where they were greeted with photos of the bride and groom along with a photo guest book of the couple to sign.The entry hallway had a bar setup along with a photo table, gift table, framed seating chart and a table with appetizers.
The grand ballroom was decorated with tables in gold stripes with cream napkins and peacock feathers in each napkin. Each place setting had a favor in front of the napkin. Every table was decorated with a different floral centerpiece. Some had tall cylinder vases filled with water with tall blue flowers and peacock feathers and others had smaller vases filled with water and purple round flowers.
The bride and groom sat at a sweetheart table at the front of the room near the patio doors. The cake was on a table in blue linens in the corner next to the bride and groom. It was a five tier cake with peacock feathers painted on and monogrammed with the couples initials. The cake was topped with the initial 'G' for the groom's last name. All around the room were purple and pink uplights. The grand ballroom had the buffet setup.
Thanks to American Catering who provided all the food as well as Davinci's Flowers who did all the floral arrangements.
The bride and groom had a great time as well as their guests. We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness!
